Decent...and now done. – Sacred Legends Review

Final update - I'm uninstalling following the Halloween event and dropping from 3 stars to two. To complete this event I had to spend over 400 diamonds in revives. Rest of my update remains. The game's descriptions were somewhat vague (if not boiler plate) but I gave it a try. - Side scrolling with no exploration. - Very repetitive. Each fight occurs in three stages. After the 50th fight you can do every stage with your eyes closed. - The stamina system is incredibly annoying and the refills are way too expensive. I can maybe get 20 minutes of gameplay with full stamina, then wait half of the day for it to slowly refill. - Gold is consumed very quickly by skill upgrades, equipment upgrades, and potion purchases. You can blow through 100k gold (which they gladly sell you for an extreme amount of runes) every time you level up or want to level an item. - Three classes with no character customization. There appears to be an option called "Skins" but it is "coming soon". - It makes it appear that Facebook login is the only option, but if you select "Guest" it will link to your Game Center and save your progress that way. - Some stages require multi-player. It appears you select from others, then they join you as a computer controlled character. - From my perspective, the fun doesn't come from the battles or from the plot, but from the item enhancement system. The plot is very thin. - The PVP system is the worst feature. You can't start playing in PVP until level 12, but the system appears to have 40000 players below level 10. At only five free attempts per day, that's a lot of level 1 players you have to beat to get to the top. I got to the 2000, starting below 50000, and I'm still battling level 1 "players". - I love the pause feature. Especially helpful as I am often interrupted in my gameplay. The ad based requirements to refresh some cool downs has become incredibly annoying. They need an option to pay to remove ads. Sorry, I've watched the same 30 second ad 30 times for five different games that I won't buy.
