Great Idea, Poorly Developed – Vertical Assault - Vietnam War Review

I love the era of Vietnam. I especially love the aviation side. So when I searched and found this game, I figured it's gotta be worth the small amount of $2.99. Dig side-scrollers and love the Huey. Bad news is, I was wrong. Graphics are low quality, physics are unrealistic, controls are poorly set up, and the helicopter glitches every time you change directions in a very unrealistic manor. Campaign is not a campaign. It's the same level every time with a different order of the limited two tasks (kill bad guys or cap a flag). No immersion whatsoever. It's says the word "simulator" in the description somewhere. Don't be fooled by this word, as there is nothing of the simulator type involved in this game. This would need to be a free game in order for it to be slightly worth the HD space. I wanted to like this game, but there isn't anything to like about it. Which makes me very sad. I would never recommend this to anyone. Wish I could get my money back. Save yourself the pain and suffering of wasting 10 minutes of your life buying, downloading, uninstalling, writing a bad review and just don't buy it. It would need a lot of work to make it worth the price tag. Not likely to happen.
