Just purchased ..question – ProVox Ghost Box Review

I just purchased the app, turned it on and did the scan the AM/FM scan and I can't hear the scanning noise. There is no noise but I can see the a.m. FM dial going thru the search? What do I need to do to fix it? Then I can come back here and actually rate the app more accurately. Thank you for your assistance.
