App crashes upon launch – Google Maps Review

I have used this app for years... loved it. With the latest update when I open the app works the first time I use it, but subsequent uses it just crashes without fully opening. I need the directions, so I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times. Not my favorite way to waste data on my plan!
