Excellent way to track MPG and maintenance – Gas Cubby by Fuelly - MPG, Mileage & Fuel Economy Review

I've been tracking my mileage and maintenance events on my smartphone since I had TealAuto on my Palm III. When I switched from my Treo 650 to the iPhone the first real app I looked for was a TealAuto replacement and I found Gas Cubby. Using the import feature on their web site, I was able to import my transaction history from 2005 forward into the app, so it picked up right where I left off on the Treo. Being able to set maintenance reminders is great, and having all of that tracking information at my fingertips is perfect for when the guy at the garage tries to tell me my air filter needs to be replaced ("nope, just did that 2 months ago, thanks anyway"). The graphs are reports are nice too, and being able to sync is a cool feature. It would be nice to see Dropbox support, though, or some other way of extracting the data for backup purposes. Update 09/15/2016: the recent switch/update to Fuelly has really messed up what was once a great application. I don't need/want all these social/cloud features, I just want to track my mileage and service for my cars. The interface is cluttered with stuff I don't want (like city/highway % split) and can't turn off, data entry is no longer streamlined, it's just a mess. It'd be nice if Fuelly would release a "classic" version of GasCubby without all of that social cruft. A former four stars, now down to two.
