Love the website, but the app is not worth the $ubscription – EveryDollar: Personal Budget Review
Update: bugs still not squashed with new update :(
This budget tool is great but the app has been poorly designed. I have to use the web version to use it and even that is buggy. I would gladly pay $10 a month for a redesign or even some small tweaks.
- The biggest fault is a lack of "trends" (i.e. Past 6 months spending, net income, etc - think the Mint app). Sure the app makes you more cognizant of where your $ is going, but this makes it difficult to track spending habits
- a lack of batch dragging into categories makes tracking time consuming
- poor categorization of merchants when importing from bank
- the "funds" feature is buggy and does not allow you to edit it, making savings tracking difficult.
- I love percentages of the "planned" $, but why not show it on the "spent" tab percentages of spent money
- no iPad version
Tl;dr - great service will save you money but UI is clunky and not user friendly
