Great App. The glitches are worth ignoring. – Plant Nanny Review

Plant Nanny is a great app, not just tracking water intake, but also for encouraging people to stay hydrated. I used to have a hard time making myself drink enough water on a daily basis but keeping my plant alive has been a great motivator! As you consume water, you also enter your water intake into the app and thereby water your plant. If you do not drink enough water, your plant can begin to wither and die. There is a slight glitch that seems to subtract one ounce from the total ounces consumed. Example: If you log 60 oz., the app only thinks you did 59 oz and this also means you have to add an extra ounce in order to complete your goal. I consider this a minor glitch and would recommend the app even with this issue. Although I like and would recommend the Plant Nanny app, there are two improvements that I would like to see: 1) Include the capability to edit previous days and adjust the water intake. There has been a few times that I forgot to enter my water consumption and even though I drank enough, I still had a sad plant the next day. I would like to be able to make edits for days that I forget, at least one day previous. No cheating though! 2) When you move a plant to the garden at the end of the day, it's time to create your new plant. But even if you drank the proper amount of water, the new plant will be withered the next day because it was planted late in the day and did not get the full water goal. That can be discouraging so I would suggest adjusting that feature that for the first day, a new plant refers to the total number of ounces consumed rather than the number of ounces the new plant itself received. Overall, I love the app. The plants are cute and if you fill your garden and watch the ads, you can earn plenty of seeds for purchasing new flower pots and additional plants. Plant Nanny has really helped me to hydrate appropriately and I definitely credit the app for my healthier habit.
