Okay device – Misfit Review

I've had my Shine 2 for about a year. I was annoyed at first about how it makes Apple Health double-count steps when I carry my phone, but whatever. I have to accept that that data in Health is wrong. Mostly I look at the misfit app anyway. That's the price I pay for wanting something more attractive and less functional/seamlessly integrated than an Apple Watch. The device is okay. It does pop out of the band sometimes, which is annoying, but if I'm doing something like making the bed I've learned to flip it so the face is on the inside of my wrist, it's less likely to fall out there. I've taken it in the pool without issue. I don't get all of my steps registered if my hands are occupied, unfortunately. I find myself swinging my arms as I walk to get credit, or carrying my phone(/catching Pokemon...) with my non-watch hand. This is my first replacement, the other one had battery issues. Oh, also it randomly buzzes at me and sometimes says I'm inactive when I just walked across the room. Hm... The app is just okay for how it displays data. I am disappointed in the scale for the steps/sleep/weight chart. It's fine with just steps and sleep but one week I weighed myself 3 times, with a total difference of 1lb (which is totally normal daily fluctuation!!!) and the scale for the other two was like a flat line. 900 steps looked like 500 steps. Maybe there's some miscalculation in there you guys could fix so I can get a more useful chart. Otherwise it's okay I just am not super excited by the app. I feel like some other devices do their apps better.
