Fun way to learn languages and make new friends! – HelloTalk - Language Learning Review

I love this app. I've learned a lot from some really wonderful people who are also learning, and made some great friend along the way. My only criticism is that images and videos are often slow to transfer — much slower than other messaging apps — but this has improved over time and become more reliable as well. And their support has been very helpful when I've needed it. I'm happy to pay for the Pro subscription because this is easily one of my top 5 apps on my iPhone. But it's great that it can be used for free too to try it first. :)
