Usability suffers – PokéAlert - Realtime Map for Pokémon GO Review

This new update removed the Pokemon images and replaces them with their silhouettes... making poke hunting harder. As a bonus, they also decreased the refresh timer. This may explain why the service may not show any Pokemon throughout the day though. It was a better service prior and two updates in a row gone downhill.
