Unreliable When Needed – PokéAlert - Realtime Map for Pokémon GO Review

I'm walking through Central Park and here's a Haunter nearby I open up PokeAlert to check where it is an oh, there's nothing on it. I open it up over and over again and nothing is showing I have the filter setting for all Pokemon. Hours later and there's a hitmonlee around same thing happens again. Anytime there's a rare Pokemon near the app seems to stop working. Every time and then when there's a ratatta nearby it just starts working again. Recently they also changed all the sprites to circles with uncolored Pokemon sprites. What was wrong with the old sprites? The app is great and all but it never works when needed.
