Strike 3 – Postmates - Food Delivery Review

I've had 3 orders canceled for no reason at all. The order itself being canceled is not the problem. The problem lies within customer service canceling my order after waiting an hour thinking it was on its way. This has happened at least three times. It is impossible to reach customer service. I basically had to trick the app in order to get in touch with somebody (by email only). What I learned is they don't care about quality of service. Postmate's excuse was, "we've expanded too quickly and didn't have a driver for that order." I'm fine with a driver not being available. Just tell me up front when the order is placed instead of accepting the order and making me wait an hour before sending me a one sentence email stating, "Your order with Postmates has been canceled." The time you wasted is the issue; not the order. It's extremely inconsiderate and a great way to lose loyal customers. Postmates is too expensive to be this poorly operated. Shipt, Favor, and Amazon prime make Postmates less and less desirable. Hopefully competition in the market will entice Postmates to make changes or close shop altogether. I will not be using them again.
