I have at least 20 games going with different friends. The last week, I'm drawing almost all vowels. My friends are having similar problems. Also with two different people we encountered some issues that didn't accept any word. It was happening to both players in the games. We tried very common words like "and" or "the" and kept getting the response that they were it valid words. Seems like you 've got some bugs to work out.
