Game flaw? – Breakout - Brick Breaker Review

Ok so I was going through the arcade and I beat lvl 99 and it gave me the option to go to lvl 100. At first, I thought it was some kind of extra lvl but it was just a blank lvl where you had one heart and the timer just kept going up. So what I want to ask is if there is more to lvl 100 than I think there is.
