Great ideas but rough implementation – Spider 2 - GameClub Review

TLDR: controls are too difficult for kids, gameplay too boring for adults. The devs had some great ideas, and there is a great game in here somewhere. I especially love the innovative use of weather detection. And I don't think a similar game mechanic exists. But the controls and camera behavior do make things difficult. I don't know how you could have better controls, but it is hard in general. The UI is also not intuitive and lacks some basic navigation functions. Plus we really don't know or care what the goal is. Unfortunately this is a mediocre game because the innovative ideas were not implemented effectively. This in stark contrast to their outstanding title: waking Mars.
