Trouble recently ? – Health Sync for Fitbit Review

I downloaded this app to replace another I'd been using. Fitbit Sync offered more categories to share with Health and said it would sync in background. However, recently the data is NOT syncing in the background or when I open the app and tap to sync. Twice now the only way I've gotten new data to show in Health is deleting Fitbit Sync, reinstalling the app, and then syncing the data. I don't know what the issue is... If a change made by Apple to Health means an update needs made to the app? Or what else could be the source, but it needs fixed.
