Hidden perks of this app – Calorie Calculator Plus - Calculate BMR, BMI and Calories Burned With Exercise Review

There are several informative parts to this app, but the one page that makes it most worthwhile is the one where you calculate your BMR because in the final view screen, it lays out multiple scenarios at once. It shows you how many calories you are burning if you dont do any exercise but then the chart has a hierarchy of how many calories you can eat at higher and higher levels of exercise. When i am trying to stay on a diet, it is very motivating for me to see this because not only does it show me exactly how much more food I can get away with eating and still lose weight, but it also shows me how much of a deficit in calories I can create through exercise while eating the same amount of calories as I always have. Most apps will only show a final bmr number, not the degrees of activity with each bmr for that activity level. I also appreciated the common sense, modest advice pages listed at the bottom for people wanting a refresher on how weight loss biologically works. This app makes things simple while still containing details like converting how many minutes you at your current weight would need to do any of the listed exercises in order to burn a certain number of calories. Pretty nice. If the makers of this app are looking for something to add into the app in the future, there used to be an adjustable graph online that showed if you, at x weight/gender/etc, eat x amount of calories, then it will take x amount of months/weeks/days to achieve x weight loss goal. That was very inspiring and I havent run across an app that has that yet. Still, overall this is a good app.
