Very unhappy with latest update – Countdown+ Calendar (Lite) Review

I use my own images for event backgrounds and now it is much worse than it used to be. I'm forced to only use a square portion of my images instead of the iPhone oriented images I used to use. Please don't force image crop/zooming.
