They want money and can't reach anyone – Fodor’s City Guides Review

The email address and the form on the Fodors website both bounced as undeliverable. I reached Random House, who told me the brand is now owned by "Internet Brands Inc". Internet Brands Inc said that the Fodor's employees are not at their location and gave me a number for - wait for it - Random House. Clicking on the "Report a Problem" button at the top of this 'write a review' window also brings me back to the Random House Digital website, although they are no longer the owners of Fodor's. The problem is that I've always had access and now want a fee for the guides. I don't remember if I already paid or if it was just free to use, but the Random House Digital website indicates "22 Free Travel Guides" so perhaps the latter. As the guides are free on their website it doesn't make sense that they'd charge for them here, and it's looking impossible to find anyone who has answers, but if I already paid I don't want to pay again. Hope this change in ownership doesn't doom Fodor's, with which I've always had good luck.
