Shady advertising, stupid time limitations – Carrot Defense - Ice World Adventure Review

This game started out okay, but it's attempts to get you to share it on Facebook or pay money in order to continue playing are some of the worst attempts out there. Retrying levels over and over is a thing in this game as with most tower defense games. There is no limitation or penalty on hitting restart endlessly, yet when I backed out of a level to look at the world map simply to see the number of the level I was playing, I was prevented from reentering the level I was just playing and told I needed to take a break for the next five hours or continue for 99 cents. Pretty hilarious considering I would have never gotten that prompt if I had just kept playing and not been curious and tried to find out the level number. The last straw however was the ludicrously low quality of forced advertising. Unskippable videos for apps showing real nudity or drawings of brutal murders. It was like I had stumbled onto a shady porn site. The developers clearly have no class. I would skip this game entirely and save yourself the grief when far superior tower defense games exist for free as well.
