Multiple valid answers for some questions – The IQ Test : Lite Edition Review

Whoever wrote these questions didn't run them by enough people. In the first 50 questions, I found a few that have multiple valid answers. For instance, one such question was "Sun : Planet :: Earth : ?" and both Moon and Satellite were options. Now, the moon is a satellite technically, and so the precision of language is off. It's a little annoying to have to assume that the test is made for people who don't know the actual definition of "satellite." Another one was "99 : 98 :: 198 : ?" and both 197 and 196 were listed. The test maker says it's the obvious answer (197), not recognizing that 198 is just twice 99 and 196 is twice 98, so 196 is the answer if you're thinking in terms of proportions (as opposed to the simple linguistic connection of "minus 1"). What I mean is proportionally/multiplicatively, 99:98=198:196. With at least two such questions out of just the first 50, it's obvious to me that the test makers didn't vet their questions. And anyway the questions generally seem to be too easy, at least the first 50.
