Good mobile experience not great desktop – Quip - Docs, Chat, Sheets Review

The mobile experience is great. The right mix of functionality and gestures on the UI. The search works. Desktop looks terrible compared to other options. While it doesn't have to be MS office, the lack of functionality makes it sub par and without the collaborative features would make it useless.
