Most important app on the store for me – Texifier : LaTeX editor Review

I am a Math professor whose livelihood depends on writing a large number of research papers, class notes, qualifying exams, job letters, referee reports and grant proposals every year. I have been a TexPad user for about 2 years. My long-time goal has been to morph into a 1 machine guy, with that machine being a tablet. My goal seemed still very far away until just recently. Even though the iPad pro was the right hardware, the TeX software on iOS just didn't cut it. I have friends with myriad other tablets which I considered, but in the end I determined I couldn't live with any of them. With the advent of the latest version of TexPad my goal has been suddenly and unexpectedly achieved. It's just great. Not perfect, but great. With the iPad pro and the pro keyboard I have completely moved my document production to iOS. Everything else was already good enough on iOS, so now I'm a happy camper. I tested my system on a month-long speaking tour of India. Only once did I need a PC -- to transfer a PDF to a memory stick. Hint: if you want to try using the iPad pro as your main device, bite the bullet and buy a MacBook power adapter and the Apple branded (trust me) USB-C to Lightning cable. Now charging is over twice as fast and is livable, it was not viable as a main device before that cable was available due to long charging times.
