Good game but ...Boosters don't work – Farm Paradise Legend Review

What is up with the boosters? At first I thought it was my outdated I pad. But I just upgraded to the new pro, and I still can't figure out how to use them. I tap on one and all I get is a large arrow, tap it and nothing. Then I have to close the app (thus loosing a life) and restart. Please either tell us how to use them or fix Also why do I still see ads after purchase, not cool
