Very Frustrating – Complete Ear Trainer Review

I've had this app for about a week and a half now and no matter how hard I try I can't seem to get passed the 3rd drill (melodic p4, p5, p8). Even more frustrating, the app will only tell you you're wrong and what the correct answer is. I'd really love to move on to another chapter, but as hard as I work there's seemingly no progress being made. The app offers no tips or tricks when stuck, no helpful hints or any options to limit how many octaves it cycles through. It would be great if there was an 'easy mode' to begin with, maybe telling you what note the interval starts with, or some other visual aid. I gave this 2 stars because it's well designed and I want to believe in it and will keep working at it, but until then I might find better luck with another app.
