Original is great, bugs mar the added editions – Where's My Perry? Review

The original Where's My Perry is great and plays well. A charming puzzle-solving game with fun characters. The added games are a bit buggy. Not enough to make them unplayable, but enough to feel as if Disney cheaped out. Doofenschmirtz Inc keeps asking me to re-download it, even though it is on my ipad and the "download" takes half a second. Also, the character commentary is minimal, and there are times when it looks as if one is speaking, but no sound. Whether this is a bug or Disney didn't want to pay the voice actors, it feels odd. Calling All Agents has wonky animation in the linking set-pieces, where Prof D is a dismembered mess. All his pieces are mapped wrong. I do enjoy the odd little sub plots implied in the character commentary. Peter the Panda is quite a stud, apparently...
