Gain input 6S plus – TwistedWave Audio Editor Review

I use for recording interviews... On my IPhone 6 I was able to adjust the gain input as it records super HOT. I upgraded to an iPhone 6S Plus and the option to adjust the gain is no longer available. Unreal. How can upgrading lead to less features.
