Customer service fail – Vango Art - Buy original art from emerging artists Review

The app it's awesome! The sales transaction was amazing. The art I received is perfect, came wrapped safe and timely. Letter from the artist and certificate of authenticity he was enclosed. couldn't be happier with this part of the transaction. The Vango team, which is the middleman between artist and purchaser, has very poor customer service. After emailing customer service with my promotional discount problem, I receive a response 96 hours later. Still not the biggest problem because it was a weekend and I can understand not getting back to you so fast. The emails are the problem. They send you the most are useless advertisements of other artists that they think you might like. I have been receiving roughly 5 emails a day since my last purchase. They have been for artists that don't appeal to me and for offers for discounts on my next purchase (even though I had used the discount already, I still received email telling me to use it or I'll lose it). So IF I decide to unsubscribe to newsletters, I will receive nothing from my artist that I do like to follow to see her new art, so that's my dilemma. So I write customer service a reply to the email that was offering the discount that I already had taken. Their response was "we will be out of the office for the next Two Quarters, and only able to answer limited emails". I guess the vango app fails to realize customer service can sink a business just as easy as bad products. My hope is that this review finds upper management.
