Didn't work for me – Clean,Merge Duplicate Contacts Review

This app destroyed my 3800 entry contact book on my iPhone 5s. I did back up before letting it purge my duplicates but I have yet to figure out to reconstruct my contact book from that backup. It did not eliminate duplicates, but it did strip out all of the notes, email addresses and, randomly, the phone numbers. I contacted support but no response.
