Habits are good, not bad – The Habit Factor® PRO Review

I read the book, The Habit Factor, a couple of years ago. When it came time to develop and track some habits, I found it just too overwhelming for me. Fast forward to last December and somehow I was fortunate enough to receive an email from Martin Grunburg about a webinar on Focus and Discipline. I need both in my life. During the webinar he said that feeling (or being) overwhelmed is simply not making a decision about what is most important...an inability to prioritize. And in an answer to a question I had about the emotional aspect of developing strength to stick to your habits, he said that the trick is to basically think about something else besides the obstacles that you face (my paraphrase, not his actual statement). A simple but different way to get your mind on the right track. I re-read the book, got the app, am participating in an accountability group, and now listening to these podcasts. The perspective he offers isn't vastly different from other things I've read or listened to, but the idea of developing a habit and tracking it and succeeding with one and then another and another and so on IS different and that is what appeals to me. I have had to really focus on what was the one habit I could work on to help me reach my goals. I am still taking baby steps but before long I think I can really build good momentum with this process as I master just one habit and then add in some more. The podcasts offer a variety and perspective I haven't found elsewhere.
