Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes by LynxMinx – Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes - A Hidden Object Mystery (Full) Review

This is another installment where you are up against the evil little troll, St. Germaine. I loved this game, and it had gorgeous graphics that took place in beautiful Florence, a city that I have visited and loved. The cut-scenes were great, the game flowed really well, and all inventory was labeled. There were plus items, and you collect pigeons. You could customize your settings, and there was a teleport map. There was no journal, but objectives were regularly updated. Loading was instantaneous between locations. The HO scenes were varied, some fun puzzles/mini games, and you got to use a magic staff and magic balls of yarn. As usual, no altruism, so as you help people along the way you advance yourself! Also, only some mice in the HO scenes, so that of course was a big relief to me. I wish I could give it the extra star, but I won't for the following reasons. I wish it had been longer, even with bonus adventure. You could tell English was not the developer's primary language, because some of the vocabulary and grammar was off, albeit humorously! The map did not indicate available actions, so we lazy people had to run around, but not that much because of the way the game moved to separate areas and you were told when a location was complete. The gameplay was a bit glitchy during the HO scenes; it was very hard to combine certain objects. But perseverance pays off, and this is truly a great game. I enjoyed it immensely. Note to KimTwilight and Dracyy: thank you for warning me about RATS in the new Haunted Hotel. I promise to play anyway because I am really not a coward and I face my fears and it got great reviews. Kim, I haven't played the Artifex Mundi games yet because I am having a lot of pain and it's hard for me to stay on the tablet. Thank you so much for your kind words. If anyone has any advice for me, I would welcome it. I play on my bed with the tablet on my lap on a stand. Unfortunately, it has led me to a pinched nerve in my neck, and aggravated tendinitis and bursitis in both shoulders and arthritis in one wrist. Is there a more comfortable way to play? Dream Team, please if there is a better way of doing this and you can advise me it would be so appreciated. I don't want to give up gaming! Does anybody have any particular stand that they love or any ideas on how I can fix this? I am getting desperate to figure this out. So please, reviewers, how can I make it easier on myself and still be able to play? Lynxie sends ?❤️? and gratitude to everyone!
