I'm an armature astronomer with numerous telescopes for differing seasons and locations. I've purchased most astronomy apps and several software programs. In my opinion there is no better app than Sky Safari for finding objects of interest, developing a viewing list and then finding the "faint fuzzy" you're looking for. If you're not a "serious" observer then the "pro" version might cost more than you're co for table with, but trust me that sooner or later you'll outgrow all those other apps. You'll save more and have an easier time viewing if you start with this program...
