Good game, awful controls – Potent. Review

Gameplay is good, graphics are nice, level entry is a bit odd (have to earn gold by fighting in an entry area to open a portal into a dungeon), but overall a fun game. However the controls are awkward as hell. Double tap to move?? And only ways to control direction are to move or attack in that direction. No way to just turn around. The game really needs virtual sticks for movement and direction. I do like the magic gesture system, especially that the game pauses briefly to let you make the gesture. Fix the controls, and I'd increase to 4 or 5 stars
