Nice idea, really problematic implementation – Input - The cloud console Review

As a few others have noted, this app requires that you grant it access to your Google account first thing — a BIG omission. The UI is an interesting idea, and it sounds like it should be fluid, but in fact it's extremely aggressive. You're given one long document like a keylogger dump of everything you've done (for example, complete emails!) — if there's a way to clear that, I couldn't figure it out. And as soon as you type anything in the famous input field, a transparent pane pops up listing commands or email addresses or whatever — and once it came up, I couldn't figure out how to get rid of that, either. When you need to kill an app to try to return it to an itial state, that's a very bad sign. I've used free-form input apps like this on OSX for many years (for example, LaunchBar and Quicksilver) — I get it, in fact I rely on them day and day out. But this app needs to be reworked to be useable.
