Why do I need to rate articles? – IJR - Independent Journal Review Review

I don't get the new layout....now we have to swipe left and right to say what articles we like to have presented? What if I don't want to read that particular article at that point? How do I get back to it? Another dev that is "thinking" they know better....please look at the current interface and see how people use it before making wholesale changes. Software development 101. I don't use this anymore on my phone. Makes ZERO sense.
