More and more frustrated

I used to check with this app several times a day to see news with a conservative alternative to what is normally found in MSM. Since the last update, the app is useless. They require you to register through email or social media, which is completely unnecessary. I don't need to provide any info to read the news and there are plenty of alternatives that don't require it. Whoever green lit this update made a phenomenal mistake. I will be deleting the app and going elsewhere for now on
New Version that Thinks for Me?

I don't need a news app that doesn't show me stories it doesn't think I'll be interested in! My tastes in articles changes day-to-day. The previous version of this app was great. This one is useless and I will likely delete it if it isn't changed back to a better format!!
Why do I need to rate articles?

I don't get the new layout....now we have to swipe left and right to say what articles we like to have presented? What if I don't want to read that particular article at that point? How do I get back to it? Another dev that is "thinking" they know better....please look at the current interface and see how people use it before making wholesale changes. Software development 101. I don't use this anymore on my phone. Makes ZERO sense.

This morning I loved this app. After doing an update this afternoon I now consider it GARBAGE! You have totally ruined one of my top 3 apps by requiring unnecessary logins, passwords and asking for personal information. I really hope you reconsider your actions and put 'things' back the way they were before you made these disastrous changes. Goodbye IJ, it was good while it lasted.

I have used this app for several years but the new update is atrocious. I can't stand it anymore. The social media registration is unacceptable, just give me the news. Deleted!

Seriously, what happened to my favorite news app? I enjoyed the layout and the content they had and then they decided to change everything. I will be deleting it.

Shouldn't have to login to read articles. Also, I just want a list of headlines instead of the app trying to "personalize" the news feed.
