Disappointing – Collins Portuguese English Review

Shelling out $22.95 for this dictionary gave me pause for a long time, but finally I gave in to the draw of convenience, no longer having to carry a dictionary. And I was familiar with the Collins line and it seemed like a good bet. Yes it's convenient, and it seems pretty comprehensive. But there are some pretty obvious things it should do but does not. Like being able to leave the standard input mode set to Portuguese. Most of the time I want to look up the English meaning of a Portuguese word, but first I have to remember to switch. It doesnt remember my settings from session to session. And any paper dictionary I've ever used has a section explaining verb conjugations, regular and irregular. This seems like an easy and obvious thing to do in the App format. So overall I feel like the developer has benefitted more with my money than I have with their product.
