Can't upgrade – Astraware Crosswords Review

Latest release offers an option to get 2 puzzles daily. Have been trying for 3 days to buy the upgrade, but all I get is "cannot connect to app store." Maybe it's just as well because previous extra games I had bought seem to have disappeared after this latest 'upgrade'.
