Straight from my childhood – Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition Review

First thing I wanna say is about the voice actor who's doing Gabriel. I saw someone else's review complaining about his voice acting. After hearing him.... He's actually doing a pretty accurate representation of what the great Tim Curry, who originally did the voice, sounded like. I love this remake, and I've already purchased the second part. I absolutely loved this series as a teenager, and it's so great to play through this first one again. I'm hoping they bring out 2 and 3 also! For anyone who enjoyed the original.... I strongly recommend this. If you're new to the genre, this is a very well written and detailed story that starts a bit slow as you're learning the characters and premise of the series... But this game ramps up nicely and gets very dark, and very suspenseful by the end. Give this game a shot if you're at all interested in the classic PC point and click adventure games from the late 80s and 90s.
