GORGEOUS – Bebot - Robot Synth Review

Do not underestimate this app with its innocuous cute little robot face, it is a formidable synthesizer and makes for an incredibly expressive, lush performing instrument. Despite owning countless super complex, new age synthesizers on iOS, I constantly find myself returning to bebot for a real solo. This is one of those few rare apps that you can play the bassline, organ riff, grungy guitar solo, cheesy saw flourish and bells on, simultaneously and on the *same* patch. Lovely. Controls are fluid, the snap and the glide as well as the subtle LPF on the y-axis controller are perfectly calibrated for maximum eargasm, nice selection of oscillators ranging from sweet sines to thick drippy PWM, the effects are ultra-satisfying and boy oh boy that suboscillator hits the spot. Bebot, I'm a slave4u.
