Best drill cleaning app ever! – Drillbook Next: Director Version Review

-The app is very accessible for band directors to find a performer's spot right away, share their coordinate with them if they need it and where their midpoint is if you're cleaning it in that fashion. -The app is also good for having performers "be props" so you know your stage in advance and the kids know where to go without "hitting" any stage designed props. (Tip for band directors: have your drill writer write coordinates for props in your drill and this app plugs those prop locations in!) -This app is the perfect cleaning drill app for a band director who doesn't need to run around the field, but stand up on his/her band tower with their long ranger! -The "by the counts" feature is great for pass-throughs, midpoint drills, and rotation of forms. -You can also showcase this drill app by projecting it with your iPad (with proper cables) and show every performer their spot (highlighted by touch screen) throughout the whole show. I have shown my students where their spot is throughout the show when I'm down on the field cleaning drill and it really helps!
