I need instruction – Talking Picture Board Review

I just purchased this app hoping to try it with my non-verbal clients. However, I cannot figure it out. It does not play any sounds and how do I add my own pictures? Is there a website or something that has instruction for this app? What am I missing? It appears I wasted my money.
