Useless Heat Map makes this app lackluster – Apartments & Rentals by Walk Score - Find Your Apartment for Rent, Condo, House or Home Review

On both the desktop site and this app, the developers have chosen to eliminate Walk Score's most useful feature -- the ability to survey a city by navigating the heat map, to get a quick overview of which neighborhoods are good for living without a car. Now you can only see a static map of a neighborhood, zoomed out and difficult to interpret. You also can't layer the heat map with other layers. Seriously, what is the point? Hotpads has a cleaner interface, and isn't as buggy.
