Check your work like an expert. – NumberShire 1: Class Review

The main character, Mr. Elder, of the story says this throughout the math activities. Both my children now repeat this phrase and put it to practice when doing their homework. What I felt was best about my children's NumberShire experience was the excitement they had learning and solving math problems. The activities were teaching based and not simply skill and drill. The activities were all tied to the story and my children got a real sense of accomplishment completing them and helping out the characters in the world. My personal favorite result I witnessed from using the NumberShire app was, my then four year old, using the in-game hundreds chart and taking it upon herself to accurately count from one to one hundred repeatedly.
