Bought the app, now I have to rate it to continue using it? – Kids Car, Trucks - Puzzles Review

I paid for the app so my 2 year old could work through all the puzzles. Has worked great for the past 3 months. Now all the puzzles are greyed out and in order to restore the purchase I have to give a rating. The game itself is 5 stars. The strategy the creators have used to boost their numbers is a 1 star.
