Scoring doesn't make sense – Energy Island Review

The amount of energy generated from one type of power source doesnt matter if you have one or 15. The energy generated doesn't change. First try using only renewables I got a score of 49%. I doubled the renewables and my score went down to 23% and had a massive power shortage. I had 12 tidal, 15 wind, 20 solar, 1 hydro, and 3 bio-mass and my score is back to 49% and the city still ran out of power. Try it again with 1 tidal, 1 wind, 1 solar, 1 hydro, 1 bio-mass, and 1 gas and my score is 66%, with power to spare. This needs to show numbers at least. Say the city needs 100 GWh a day and note how much energy each power source adds. For an added challenge make it time of day specific since the grid doesn't store energy. The gas turbine plant will be needed but the goal will be to minimize it's use as much as possible.
