Forced Ruin – Divided We Fall Review

I believe this would of been a high quality and enjoyable cog book had the author given his reader a choice. He knows history and his writing is good. The fatal error in my opinion is that he forces you to follow 4 story lines at once, which for me kills the immersion. Instead of making it a deep experience where you have 4 different life paths to choose from, giving you time to bond with and care about your role playing experience he makes you follow and participate in all 4 story lines. This is very sad as this ruins the book and is totally contrary to a choice game. So if u want to support being forced into story lines you have no interest in buy this book. To the author, I hope you write another book, you are a good writer, I just hope next time you keep the integrity of the role playing experience and allow a person to choose which professions or story lines they follow. Had you simply allowed us to choose which of the 4 stories we wanted to follow instead of shoving all 4 down our throat and not giving us a choice about it I would of rated u 5 stars.
