Excellent gameplay – Staunch Defense Review

I second the other reviews: don't let the graphics fool you. They're rudimentary, but theres also no confusion about what's what. This TD game has some of the deepest gameplay around. Totally replayable thanks to so many maps, so many strategies, unique upgrades/technologies to research, serious resource management required, etc. The only thing I would ask for is an endless game mode. I still haven't had a chance to play around with all the upgrades! Update: it's been a while since SD came out and I don't want to whine about updates (there is a lot of content and came out more polished performance-wise than most). I also know the dev is working on a new game (yay!). But I would kill (pay) for an update with an extended or endless play mode, or new maps. Ive beaten all but ghost town and miners mountain on hard. Need more! Update: it's been years and I still come back to this game. Hands down the best TD ever. Staunch defense 2?!
