Horrible bowling simulation, but lots of fun – Bowling Islands Review

If you approach this game as if it is supposed to be a bowing simulation, you’ll hate it. If you realize that bowling is just the underlying metaphor for a very innovative and enjoyable gaming experience, you’ll have a great time. Lots of levels, and lots of challenges requiring fast thinking and timely flicking, make this my favorite new game. The developer should invest in having an English-speaking writer produce an introductory paragraph that sets expectations as I’ve described in this review; without this, I suspect this will disappoint a lot of players who don’t take the time to get into the subtle dynamics that make this a long and satisfying gaming experience.
