text names on buttons – SpeedDial-Top10 Review

Why would you put text labels such as "Button Pad1" instead of just the text "1"? I definitely appreciate that text labels have been included, but do not appreciate the extraneous "Button Pad". VoiceOver speaks that it is a button, after saying the text. I realize that you cannot directly answer these questions, but just want that issue fixed.
